The announcement for constable recruitments has been made. These recruitments are on a contract basis, which means the contract will last for 5 or 10 years.

Division of Regions

First, let’s talk about the divisions where these recruitments are organized. These are:

  • Peshawar Division
  • Rawalpindi Division
  • Lahore Division (including Workshop and Central Police Office)
  • Multan Division
  • Sukkur Division
  • Karachi Division
  • Quetta Division

These divisions have designated offices for recruitment submissions.

Submission of Applications

Applicants must submit their application forms by hand in their respective divisions.

Centers for Submission

Each division has its own center where applications are to be submitted:

  • Peshawar Division: Office of Superintendent Railway Police
  • Rawalpindi Division: DS Office Railway Station

Applicants should check their division and the corresponding center for form submission.

Form Submission Instructions

  1. Where to get the form:
    • Download it from the Pakistan Railway Police website.
    • Forms are also available at the police offices of railway stations.
  2. Required Documents:
    • Educational certificates: Matric, Intermediate, or Graduation result cards
    • Copy of Domicile
    • Character Certificate
    • Affidavit (confirming no FIR or legal case against the applicant)
    • Three passport-sized photos
    • Four envelopes with your name and address
  3. Fee: Submit a Postal Order of PKR 500.

Physical and Educational Requirements

  • For Male Constables:
    • Height: 5 feet 7 inches
    • Chest: 33-34.5 inches (no relaxation allowed)
    • Age Limit: 18-25 years
    • Education: Minimum Matric (C grade accepted)
  • For Female Constables:
    • Height: 5 feet 2 inches
    • Age Limit: 18-25 years
    • Education: Minimum Matric (C grade accepted)
    • Physical Test: Must complete 1 mile run in 10 minutes

Seat Allocation and Provincial Quota

The recruitment includes 250 constable seats, distributed as follows:

  • Punjab: 125 seats
  • Sindh: 47 seats
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 28 seats
  • Balochistan: 15 seats
  • Azad Kashmir: 5 seats
  • FATA: 8 seats
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 3 seats

Important Guidelines for Form Submission

  • Fill out the form in black ink.
  • Attach all required documents, including CNIC, domicile, and educational certificates.
  • Submit a PKR 500 Postal Order.

Affidavit Submission

Applicants must submit an affidavit declaring:

  • No FIR or pending legal case
  • Signed and stamped affidavit

Final Instructions

  1. Submit verified copies of your documents.
  2. Attach five passport-sized photographs.
  3. Candidates must ensure they meet the height, chest, and education requirements.

The form requires:

  • Name
  • Father’s name
  • Religion
  • Education details
  • Date of birth
  • CNIC number
  • Employment history (if applicable)
  • Signature and thumb impression

The last date for submission is 1st January 2024.
